New Location – ‘Cliff… As If’ in Manchester

Well, the big move is actually taking place and by the end of this month Cliff… As If will be based in Manchester. I know that I speak for all the team when I say how much we will miss Leicestershire and especially the many people that have played their part in the act becoming what it is today. There are so many to thank, but I would like to mention a few from the Leicester area who have been instrumental in helping me to establish Cliff… As If as a top tribute act.

First of all I would like to express my deep gratitude to my friend John Montague of www.montysmusic.com. He was there at the very conception of Cliff… As If and saw the potential when others were doubtful. I would like to thank Tony Wadsworth of BBC Radio Leicester who apart from becoming a good friend has also has given me many opportunites to perform as well as open many doors, including arranging for me to meet Sir Cliff Richard in person for the first time –  a moment I’ll never forget. I’d like to give a mention here to Alex Chandler who in the early days toured with me to operate my pa and survived being thrown in the deep end many times, always managing to do a great job. I’d like to express my gratitude to the many people locally who have supported Cliff… As If as an act since 2007. Leicestershire has been kind to me and the many venues that have hosted my act have been very gracious. A few have even rebooked for the future! In recent times I have had the privilege of working with Leicestershire based Cliff tribute and top musician Simon Goodall and his wife Ali. They have assisted me me in laying down my new single ‘It Is No Secret’ which is due for release very soon.  Thanks to Nigel (Elton) John for a new friendship that has been unconditional and supportive.

I know Manchester is not on the other side of the world from Leicester, but I feel it is important to acknowledge the support that I have received and the many blessings that have come through people here being enthusiatic about what I do.

So Manchester here we come! If I receive just half the support and encouragement that I have received from Leicestershire then all will go very well indeed.

Lots of love and God’s blessings to you.

Will.

Thanks for your kind words Will.

For my part, it’s been fun to work with you and enable that introduction to Cliff himself. It was indeed a special occasion.

All the very best to you and Mia for a bright future ‘up north’…

    Take care…
