Cliff Richard meets Cliff... As If

Here is some dialogue of the meeting between Cliff Richard and me. It was such a happy and memorable moment for me, and one that will stay with me forever. A big thanks to Tony Wadsworth of BBC Radio Leicester

 This is the moment that Cliff walked in the room. Tony Wadsworth is intoducing us and making the comentary.

So, just moments before the two Cliffs met – how was Will feeling?

“I’m just as calm as a cookie,” lied Will.

“So this isn’t a big deal for you?” asked Tony.

“No this is a front. I’m so excited. I can’t wait. I’m hoping he sees me as the little brother he never had,” said Will.

Then it was time, when Sir Cliff entered the room.

“Cliff, meet Cliff,” Tony said making the introduction.

“It’s good to meet you. It’s great to meet me. Funny I’ve only said that once,” joked the real Cliff.

“Here I am meeting me.”
